Located near the small town of Holly Ridge the cemetery lies just past an operational cotton gin. You’ll see the Charley Patton Mississippi Blues Trail marker on the side of the road next to the cemetery. Fellow bluesmen Charley Patton and Asie Payton are also buried in this the New Jerusalem Churchyard Cemetery.
