The B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center is a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of the Delta and is a must see attraction. The Center opened in 2008 and was built to honor the life and music of one of the most accomplished musicians of all time. The Museum uses B.B. King’s life story as a framework to tell about the Mississippi Delta region and the origins and influence of blues music. Interactive exhibits, audio-visual presentations as well as artifact displays are used to celebrate the talent and perseverance of the legend B.B. King and the land he called his home. B.B. King is interred at the grounds of the Center.
